Eleon Games ha presentado el nuevo contenido que llegará la próxima semana con la actualización 5.0 para su juego Empyrion Galactic Survival. Tenemos muchos cambios interesante y novedades que muchos estaban esperando. Vamos al lío.
Character Customization
Se introduce la personalización de nuestro personaje, en la cual podremos retocar el pelo, cara, tipo de cuerpo, etc. Además han cambiado la armadura con la que comenzamos nuestra aventura con algunas mejoras en las texturas.
Vehicle-based Drilling
Creo que esto es una de las cosas más solicitadas en el juego, vehículos mineros. Son de la clase HV como no podía ser otra, aunque no estaría mal que también añadieran SV con este módulo de minería.
Alianzas y Orígenes
Ahora tendremos la opción de poder formar alianzas con otras facciones y se ha otorgado a cada planeta su origen o raza, por ejemplo; Akua (Ser humano), Omicron (Alien) y Ningues (sin origen).
Menú radial
Nueva opción para la interface, el menú radial. De momento solo podremos seleccionar el taladro y una multiherramienta, pero prometen para un futuro expandir su uso. También han simplificado algunas opciones de la multiherramienta como mover y girar, además de otras funciones.
Mercado local
Cambio muy bueno, desde mi punto de vista para el mercado. Ahora solo se podrá acceder al mercado desde las Estaciónes de Operaciones. Por defecto se han añadido 2 estaciones comerciales para Akua y Omicron, además de una en las órbitas de estos planetas. Por último han aumentado el límite de ofertas por un jugador de 10 a 30.
Naves controladas por la IA
Se han añadido nuevos cargueros controlados por la IA que circularán por el espacio, protegidos por otras naves.
Nuevas POIs
Se han añadido nuevas estructuras en los planetas:
- Nuevos pueblos tribales en Akua y Oscutune.
- Asentamientos civiles en Ningues, Skillon y la Luna.
- Asentamietos civiles tipo B en Zeyhines, Masperon y Omicron.
Además se han añadido cambios en la jugabilidad como la limitación de los Autominers, cambios visuales, nuevos bloques y diseños, mejor optimización del juego, ajustes y correcciones de errores.

Gameplay:
– AutoMiner can now only be crafted with special core (to avoid having too many AMD in game): We added a special component (Core) for the Auto Miner that can be found in the Escape Pod starting equipment and in the red alien containers. The reason is that we want to limit the amount of Auto Miners – they should be something special and thus rare. What do you think about this change? (currently you can easily build a huge number of Auto Miners – later with Tech Tree V2 we can balance this differently)
– Private player faction now have same properties regarding visibility compared to a «real» faction
– Added Alien and Player Core (Admin) for indestructible POIs
– More random placement of ships after warping
– First draft of Allow/Deny for Sectors.yaml (not yet supported in space map)
– Allowing to access every Auto Miner in invisible god mode
Visuals:
– Added new Holographic Shader for Block Placement
– Re-Enabled Deferred Reflections
– Added damage states to windows + glass railing blocks

Optimizations:
1. Major Constructor performance optimization (CPU / Memory / Network)
We implemented a major Constructor performance optimization (CPU / Memory / Network):
– server-side no longer calculates data only needed in client GUI (e.g. craft mode for all templates)
– server no longer sends updates via network to all clients but only to one client and only if registered (during the time the Constructor window is open)
– improved bulk-crafting of items according to passed time on dedi after a reconnect
– lots of other small improvements and fixes, e.g. craft progress indicators now finally visible on multiplayer clients

3. Major optimization regarding decoration colliders on a playfield server: now deco colliders are only spawned around players
4. Major performance optimization for playfield servers: Structures are now disabled when no players are close
Other Changes / Improvements:
– Added superspeed «up» and «down» for godmode
– Removed need of ammo for tool-weapons for vessels and increased energy requirements
– Epic weapons are now also shown in Creative Menu
– Updated EAC SDK to version 2016-11-22
– Infinite drone waves also on Akua per default
– Code locks now write their data always to blueprints
– Added console cmd to spawn any blueprint – also red BPs (GameMaster level needed): «SpawnAnyBlueprint»
– Resized sentry guns (made them a bit smaller – better proportions with respect to player size)
– Removed: Flatten Tool and Rotate Tool (these tools are now combined in multitool)
– Removed: Image Processing from Video Options and Disabled effect
– Renamed block group: Lab equipment into Tech Equipment
– Capacitor (Deco) is now in block group Tech Equipment
– Added alliances console command
– Overall increased number of drones in stock on planets => now the stock of drones will last much longer
– Increased Hitpoints of Troop Transport by 25%
Tweaks / Balancing:
– Multitool T1 does not destroy normal hull of SV with 1 hit anymore
– Ship controller: improve the stability of the ship after collision
– Increased light intensity during night on Akua
– Reduced experience gain acquired through mining
– Rebalanced experience gains: less XP for damaging blocks, discovering POIs and resource deposits
– Added explosive devices to start setting EASY.
– Several tweaks to loot content, size and distribution (e.g. normal cargo boxes now contain loot if placed in POIs)
Bug Fixes:
– Fixed: Problem with inaccurate weapon range. Now all weapons will fire exactly as far as indicated in «Effective Range»
– Fixed: Splash damage is traveling through blocks + Fix for explosion damage going into adjacent diagonal blocks
– Fixed: MP only: Projectile turrets firing two projectiles with one shot
– Fixed: Create Faction button not available in certain circumstances (SP-MP glitch)
– Fixed: Leave button being enabled in some Circumstances when it should not be, when switching between games without quitting to desktop
– Fixed: Entering cockpit switches toolbar selector to slot 0 > should be Slot 1
– Fixed: Faction not being Selectable on first creation after leaving and joining/creating a new game, without quitting to desktop
– Fixed: Devices not accessible mid-flight: will close overlay when vessel is moving
