Hace 4 días, adelantamos el nuevo contenido que presentó Eleon Games para la Alpha 5.0. Pues bien, hoy ya se ha liberado este update y nuestro servidor ya está actualizado y Wipeado con esta nueva versión. Se han dejado por defecto todos los planetas.

Character Customization
Se introduce la personalización de nuestro personaje, en la cual podremos retocar el pelo, cara, tipo de cuerpo, etc. Además han cambiado la armadura con la que comenzamos nuestra aventura con algunas mejoras en las texturas.
Vehicle-based Drilling
Creo que esto es una de las cosas más solicitadas en el juego, vehículos mineros. Son de la clase HV como no podía ser otra, aunque no estaría mal que también añadieran SV con este módulo de minería.
Alianzas y Orígenes
Ahora tendremos la opción de poder formar alianzas con otras facciones y se ha otorgado a cada planeta su origen o raza, por ejemplo; Akua (Ser humano), Omicron (Alien), Masperon (Humanoide) y Ningues (sin origen).
Notas
- Tu raza será definida dependiendo del planeta de inicio que elijas.
- No se podrá cambiar el origen.
- Al crear una facción, esta será automáticamente una facción con tu origen.
Menú radial
Nueva opción para la interface, el menú radial. De momento solo podremos seleccionar el taladro y una multiherramienta, pero prometen para un futuro expandir su uso. También han simplificado algunas opciones de la multiherramienta como mover y girar, además de otras funciones.
Mercado local
Cambio muy bueno, desde mi punto de vista para el mercado. Ahora solo se podrá acceder al mercado desde las Estaciónes de Operaciones. Por defecto se han añadido 2 estaciones comerciales para Akua y Omicron, además de una en las órbitas de estos planetas. Por último han aumentado el límite de ofertas por un jugador de 10 a 30.
Naves controladas por la IA
Se han añadido nuevos cargueros controlados por la IA que circularán por el espacio, protegidos por otras naves.
Nuevas POIs
Se han añadido nuevas estructuras en los planetas:
- Nuevos pueblos tribales en Akua y Oscutune.
- Asentamientos civiles en Ningues, Skillon y la Luna.
- Asentamietos civiles tipo B en Zeyhines, Masperon y Omicron.
Player Shoulder Light
Se ha añadido una primera versión de un reproductor de luz en el hombro. Ahora podremos construir fácilmente durante la noche y no es necesario colocar ningún foco de trabajo u otras soluciones para iluminar la zona.
- Activar / desactivar: por defecto tecla «L»
- La luz sólo es visible para el propio jugador.
- Nuevas funciones en la Alpha 5,1.
Nuevo planeta de inicio
Se añade Masperon (alien2) con dificultad: Hard como planeta de inicio. Se ha realizado una nueva distribución de los planetas.
Gameplay
- Auto Miner ahora sólo puede ser elaborado con un componente especial ( «Auto Miner Core «) que se pueden encontrar en nuestra cápsula de escape de inicio, en recipientes alienígenas (amarillo y rojo) y contenedores humanos (púrpura). Con este nuevo componente, el Auto Miner se vuelte más especial y más difícil de obtener.
- Se mejora ligeramente el control de la moto.
- Se mejora el apuntado de las torretas. En un futuro se establecerá un sistema más inteligente.
- Se ha modificado: Tipo de terreno no se puede quitar con multiherramienta.
- Nuevos cores para estructuras indestructibles como por ejemplo, las estaciones comerciales. Las estructuras player admin cores son siempre visibles en el mapa y tienen un icono diferente.
- Una colocación más aleatoria de las naves después del warping

Optimizations
- Major Constructor performance optimization (CPU / Memory / Network)
- We implemented a major Constructor performance optimization (CPU / Memory / Network):
- server-side no longer calculates data only needed in client GUI (e.g. craft mode for all templates)
- server no longer sends updates via network to all clients but only to one client and only if registered (during the time the Constructor window is open)
- improved bulk-crafting of items according to passed time on dedi after a reconnect
- lots of other small improvements and fixes, e.g. craft progress indicators now finally visible on multiplayer clients
- Major network optimization
- Major optimization regarding decorations on a playfield server: now decorations are only spawned around players
- Major performance optimization for playfield servers: Structures are now disabled when no players are close
- Much faster generation of terrain close to the player
- Planet textures are not pre-calculated anymore but are calculated on-the-fly
Other Changes / Improvements
- Removed need of ammo for tool-weapons for vessels and increased energy requirements
- Added superspeed «up» and «down» for godmode
- Epic weapons are now also shown in Creative Menu
- Added infinite drone waves also on Akua per default
- Code locks are now saved with blueprints
- Chainsaw now picks up wood automatically and places it into inventory (similar to Drill T2 with ores)
- Error dialog now offers «Mail & Continue» option
- Added new console command «SpawnAnyBlueprint» to spawn any blueprint in Survival mode – even those BPs that are marked as red in BP library (GameMaster level needed)
- Added new console command «SetDevicesPublic». With this console command you can set lock codes of devices of a certain group to public. Usage: SetDevicesPublic [entity ID] [device group] (Admin level needed)

- Ingame hints: added info about modular building and adapted multitool info
- Resized sentry guns (made them a bit smaller – better proportions with respect to player size)
- Changed: Cannot rotate Auto Miner any more to avoid upside down placement

Tweaks / Balancing
- Multitool T1 does not destroy normal hull of SV with 1 hit anymore
- Ship controller: improve the stability of the ship after collision
- Increased light intensity during night on Akua
- Rebalanced experience gains: less XP for mining, damaging blocks, discovering POIs and resource deposits
- Legacy hull blocks and windows (found in old POIs) now have 200 HP again
- Container Group: adjusted weight and slot size of Containers 1 & 3 (they now have 63 slots)
- Added explosive devices to start setting EASY
- Several tweaks to loot content, size and distribution (e.g. normal cargo boxes now contain loot if placed in POIs)
– Fixed: Problem with inaccurate weapon range. Now all weapons will fire exactly as far as indicated in «Effective Range»
– Fixed: Problem that splash damage of explosion was traveling through blocks and could destroy devices behind blocks
